President Bill Clinton nominated Ruth Bader Ginsburg to the Supreme Court in 1993. Throughout her tenure, she was a tireless advocate for women's rights, a role she upheld with unwavering dedication until her passing in 2020. Painting her was a profound experience for me. I discovered a particular affinity for painting older individuals; the wrinkles and grooves of their weathered skin tell stories of a lifetime of experiences, making the process deeply rewarding and meaningful.
