Margaret Atwood, the author of The Handmaid's Tale, is a remarkable woman and a staunch advocate for women's rights. I recently watched an inspiring documentary about her on Hulu. During her time at Harvard, Atwood faced significant gender-based discrimination; women were not allowed in the library, which meant the books she needed for her studies were inaccessible simply because of her gender.
