When I was a student studying art on a work-study for Franklin Furnace in New York City, I was assigned to pick up some donation art from many artists around the city. One such artist was Claus Oldenburg. I had formerly worked at the Akron Art Museum and loved his sculpture “Inverted Q.” Recently, I envisioned what would happen if the conspiracy theories of the Q-Anon were all upside down. It came to me; I had a painting to complete based upon this vision. The Q is all-seeing and knowing.
